Stroke, with fluent aphasia

These images are from an 86 year old man, with a history of atrial fibrillation and diabetes mellitus, who had the sudden onset of fluent aphasia. Images are from three time points and demonstrate the evolution of infarction. Notice the swelling of infarcted tissue and the distortion of surrounding tissue.
