The Division of Medical Sciences offers opportunities in a wide range of laboratory experiences and considerable interaction among the programs. While programs vary, generally students take core and advanced courses, attend seminars, perform laboratory rotations, and take a qualifying examination. After successful completion of the qualifying exam, the degree candidate is supervised by the thesis advisor in conjunction with a thesis advisory committee, as detailed in individual Program's Curriculum.
