For graduate students that are interested in understanding more about a career in consulting, we would like to invite you to an evening session to learn more about what we do from recent alumni of Harvard Medical School Alumni.

Commercializing Science and Technology

An innovative HBS course open to all Harvard graduate students Prof. Lee Fleming & Kent Bowen

Harvard graduate students from across campus and from all areas are invited to become part of Commercializing Science and Technology. This innovative course from Harvard Business School focuses on how technological and scientific breakthroughs occur and explores how to move an idea from the lab to the market.

  • Gain an understanding how firms are working and competing with universities, other firms, and open innovation communities.
  • Explore the strategic, operational, and ethical issues that arise and discover where breakthroughs are most likely to occur.
  • Work with cross-disciplinary teams to develop leading edge technologies in areas such as biotech, nanotechnology, information technology, and photonics.
  • Pursue your own project ideas and present them to Harvard and MIT faculty and local venture capitalists
