Case 5
Clinical History:
A 64 year old male with 3 month history of paraplegia secondary to a spinal intradural aortovenous fistula presented with shortness of breath with exertion and bilateral leg swelling. Physical exam revealed clear lungs and normal heart sounds. The right lower leg was mildly edematous. Pulse 104 bpm with normal heart sounds, respiratory rate 24 and regular, blood pressure mildly elevated. Oxygen saturation 85-90% by finger pulse oximetry.
