Clinical History:
A 42 year old woman with hyperthyroidism had a Tc-99m pertechnetate thyroid
scan on 4/24/98 (shown on the top row; the last image has a marker on the
sternal notch). An iodine-123 thyroid scan was performed on 6/17/98
(shown on the bottom row; the last image has a marker on the sternal notch
and a second marker 10 cm above the sternal notch). The 24 hour iodine
uptake at the time of the second scan was 42.6%.
