MR Study #3 -- Slice #15
Tour 3: Next/Previous/Start: Gadolinium-DTPA shortens the T1 of water with which it makes contact. This causes certain brain structures to appear bright, and we will visit these structures on this tour. First, starting near the bottom of the image stack, note the high signal within vascular structures, such as the cavernous sinus, the sigmoid sinus, and bone marrow in the occipital bone.
